Last Saturday team member Ignace de Roeck hit the banks for a few hours on a public park lake in Belgium.

It’s a small, heavily pressure venue where the carp are really cute and know every trick in the book. Tightly grouping a couple of handfuls of TunaMino freebies on top of a small gravel bar that was relatively shallow and clear on top Igance positioned an 18mm TunaMino bottom bait among the freebies.

After watching carp activity in the area for a couple of hours the rod finally rattled off, producing one of the lake’s old warriors.

“It was a great fight and even though the 27lb mirror responsible isn’t the biggest carp I’ve ever caught, I was really pleased with the result from a tricky water in just a few hours,” explained Ignace.
